Several colors to choose from but white was the most economical. Great for one of our guest rooms and it's very well made. Not some cheap plastic outer shell like some clocks in the same price range but a sturdy metal frame. It's a bit small but it's perfect for the room we hung it in. |

We have had it for about a month now. It looks like a nicer clock, does not look cheap. The red is a deep red and the face is actually an antique white/light cream color, not white as it may appear in some photos. The chrome trim around the face adds some nice contrast and detailing. I really like how deep it is, it sticks out from the wall kind of far and is contoured, which makes it looks more artful instead of just a basic wall clock. |

I don't think the faux wood metal rim would fool anyone on close inspection, but it's very passable. I hung mine on a dark brown wall and it looks good. Unfortunately, mine didn't work from the start. There have been some other warnings about that in the reviews on this item: I should have paid more attention. Based on my experience and the other comments on the same problem, I would not recommend this product to anyone. |

I would also like to mention that I'm not into brands for "staus" sake, I could care less with what sort of "image" the brand of sunglasses, shoes, car, etc conjures up in the imaginations of other people ~ having said that the QUALITY of a brand means a lot to me, and if something is worth it's salt, I'll keep coming back and suggest it to others. This clock is exactly what I was looking for, and the color is a bit brighter in real life (in a good way!) ~ my kitchen has a "mexico" theme, and I wanted a clock that would really "pop" without being "too much"~ I love that this clock is retro, which compliments the elements of the "1950's" theme also incorporated in my kitchen-- it also has beveled glass, which gives it that little extra something. I get compliments on it all the time, and everyone always asks where I got it, and marvels at the high quality of the item (you can tell it's definately NOT from Wal-Mart). Overall, a fantastic clock, that I believe will truely make it to the next generation....oh and one more thing, if the ticking of clocks drives you crazy, this one is absolutely SILENT- even when you put it up to your ear, you can BARELY hear the faintest mechanism. |

What I don't care for is the quality of the face which appears to be made of cardboard (although the cardboard is under glass). This explains the somewhat peculiar warning found in the instructions: "Please avoid placing the instument exposed to direct sunlight for extended period of time as this will affect the functionality and the outlook of Your new time piece". I'll bet it will! That puppy will fade in no time flat. I'm keeping the clock anyway as I won't be placing it in the sun and I don't see any other quality issues. It seems to work fine - Just saying... |

The first one I received had one of the hands rolling around loose under the glass. I exchanged it and the second one had one of the number markers rolling around loose under the glass. Amazon is great as they stand behind what they sell very well, but stay away from this clock -- unless you just want to test Amazon's policies. |
